The apartment is located on the first and second floor of a characteristic 1930s house, with a tiled roof and a private entrance at street level. We recently modernised and insulated the apartment to enjoy sustainable living. Meanwhile, the original details of the house were retained, such as the distinctive ‘en-suite’ living room and high ceilings. The house is ready to live in; bed linen, kitchen and bathroom towels on request. Rental agreement from a minimum of 4 months can be discussed.
Location
The Namensestraat is a quiet wide street in the popular residential area ‘Belgisch Park’. The apartment is located 100m (328ft) from the Meyendel dunes (National Park ‘de Hollandse duinen’) and just a short walk from the Circus theatre, the Kurhaus, the Boulevard and the beach. A ten-minute bus/bike ride brings you to The Hague’s city centre and the Central train station. Most grocery shops and restaurants are around the corner, and more shops, bars and restaurants can be found on the Gentsestraat and, of course, on the boulevard. Lastly, the street has sufficient parking place with a municipal parking permit.

1st floor
Living room, kitchen and toilet. The light and high living room is a traditional ‘en-suite’, with a half open kitchen at the front of the house (40m2), double doors at the back open onto a small balcony. Two large cabinets are built into the wall between the living and dining area. The kitchen is well equipped with built-in appliances; a 5-burner gas top with special ‘wok’ burner, oven, dish washer, fridge freezer, and a separate microwave. A comprehensive set of kitchen tools and utensils is available, including a water cooker, citrus press, and toaster, as well as a full set of cutlery, plates, and glasses
2nd floor
Two bedrooms with ‘Jack and Jill’ bathroom, separate 2nd toilet and a small laundry with washing machine and dryer. The master bedroom at the front of the house has a walk-in-closet and storage under the sloping roof. The second bedroom has a sleeping couch, so it can be used for guests or as a study. The room is very high and a ladder leads up to an entresol. In the bathroom are a design washbasin and large shower.
